I can’t express enough how lucky we feel to have come across John and his crew. We had them remove a couple of sliding doors and install a new wall and a new swing door in place. I can highly recommend Dallimore Carpentry for the excellent and flawless bathroom renovation work they conducted at my property. Due to improper and inadequate work during previous renovations, both showers in our house were leaking. I contacted Dallimore Carpentry and John was very prompt in visiting us to assess the work and give us a quote. Working with John and his crew was very easy and he would always get back to us practically immediately if we had questions. After a workday, the house was left in a clean and functional state which we greatly appreciated. Base on the outcome after the first bathroom renovation, I had no hesitation in asking John to also complete the work required on the second one. Again, his quote was quite accurate and he completed the work in the agreed time-frame despite being so close to Christmas and the challenges this provides regarding supplies and trade skills. During the renovations, John provided us with regular updates on material cost and labour, ensuring complete transparency.

We were after a custom letterbox and found John who offers small carpentry services in the Geelong area. We are so happy with the end result. How long will I be without a bathroom?
Most renovations take [4 to 6] weeks from start to finish, and the bathroom is out of action for about 3 of those. Your start and finish dates are in your quote. If it’s your only bathroom, we’ll talk through your options at the site visit.
What’s included in the price?
Everything from strip-out to the final clean: waterproofing, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, plastering, tiling, painting and fit-off, all by our own team. You choose your fixtures and tapware with our guidance, and your quote spells out exactly what’s in and what’s not.
Who does the waterproofing, and what’s the warranty?
Waterproofs every wet area to AS 3740. All of our workmanship is backed by a 7-year warranty, on top of your rights under Victorian law.
What happens at the free site visit?
John comes out himself. He looks at the space, checks for anything hidden, talks through your ideas, budget and timeline, then sends you a fixed-price quote with a start date. There’s no obligation and no pressure.
